Mr.Alberto Maldonado

Alberto Maldonado Romo is a PhD student in Computer Science at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional of Mexico, where he is doing research on Quantum Machine Learning. He collaborates with Fermilab on Error Mitigation and has won a QCHack2021 category and 3 QHack2022 categories. Besides PIQUE, he has an internship at Entropicalabs supporting the OpenQAOA SDK, supports other communities such as Qiskit Advocates, Quantum Open Source Foundation (QOSF) and volunteers at IEEE Quantum Education.

Amit Kumar Gupta

Amit, currently working as Senior Data Scientist with Microsoft India, is with Microsoft for last fourteen+ years and has overall seventeen+ years of industry experience (along with 13+ years in academics at university level as adjunct). He has done his masters from University of Hyderabad and Advanced Management Program in Business Analytics from ISB (Indian School of Business). His areas are Big Data and Predictive Analytics (Text Processing, Recommendation Systems, Anomaly Detection, Visualization, Scorecards etc.). He is also faculty, and mentor to multiple institutes/Universities (for Computer Science subjects including data science/AI/ML) and growing interest in Quantum Computing.

Dr. Anjani Priyadarsini

Anjani Priya is Quantum Computing Evangelist with AWS. She leads multiple Quantum computing initiatives at AWS and supporting AWS-MeitY Quantum Computing Applications Lab along with evangelisation efforts in India, working with both local and global teams. She holds a PhD in Quantum Computing Algorithms from IISc Bangalore, with a focus on Quantum algorithms.

Avneesh Bhatnagar

Product Leader with extensive industry experience in software product development specifically in Product Management and Consulting. Taking products and ideas to market managing all that lies in between. Carlos Kuchkovsky

Carlos Kuchkovsky is the Co-founder and CEO of QCentroid, a mission-oriented Web 3 ecosystem, with the purpose of accelerating sustainable transformation through new ways of working, tech, science, and data.

Carlos began his career as a multiplayer mobile video game developer. After that He worked for BBVA in a number of executive positions, positioning BBVA as a leader in quantum computing, AI, blockchain, digital identity, new business, and digital platforms among other areas. 

He has held different board positions on international associations at Hyperledger, INATBA, Alastria, and the Strategic Advisory Board of the Europan Quantum Flagship, and member of The Future Council on Quantum technologies from World Economic Forum,  working on the evolution of blockchain, AI, quantum technologies, and Web3.

He has published scientific and tech papers and created and led over 30 patents. He also lectures in International MBAs in fintech, deep tech, and new business models

Devika Mehra 

Devika is a currently working as Software Engineer in Microsoft Sentinel Team. She actively participate in Microsoft Garage and is leading Quantum Chapter for India. She is very enthusiastic to learn more about the advancements in the field of Quantum Computing and Security.

Prof Indranil Chakrabarty

Prof Indranil Chakrabarty is a an quantum physicist,  working as a Associate professor in the Center for Quantum science and technology (CQST).  He had his Bachelor degree from St Xavier College in Calcutta, and Masters from Jadavpur University. He had his PhD from Bengal Engineer and Science University. He did his post doctoral degree from Institute of Physics.  He had 51 research publications.

Dr. Jayasri Dontabhaktuni

Dr. Jayasri Dontabhaktuni has obtained her Ph. D in Computational Physics from University of Hyderabad in 2009. She got selected for the prestigious Marie Curie fellowship to pursue her post-doctoral research at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia during 2009-2011. She was selected for DST young scientist award (2012) and Dr. D. S. Kothari postdoctoral fellowship (2013) to further pursue her research in University of Hyderabad. She is visiting researcher at Newton Institute of Mathematical Sciences, University of Cambridge (2019) and University of Ljubljana, Slovenia (2012, 2017 & 2018). Lia Yeh is a computer science PhD student in the Quantum Group of the University of Oxford, where she researches quantum compilation, qudits, ZX-calculus, and quantum NLP. She did her bachelor’s degrees in physics and computing at the College of Creative Studies of the University of California, Santa Barbara. She volunteers for IEEE Quantum Education and Quantum Universal Education, and works part-time at IBM Quantum Education developing curriculum for software developers and high schoolers to learn quantum computing through ZX-calculus diagrams.
